street opera

Japan, 2018

Walking through the streets of Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hiroshima feels like being in a film that changes scene with every step. Neon lights, surreal details, and an unstoppable energy that never takes a break. Japan is a paradise for street photography—a place where the ordinary becomes extraordinary, where I could observe without rushing, let myself be surprised, and find poetry in the details.

This was my first significant project, born without a plan and guided purely by instinct. I believe it is precisely this spontaneity that made it special. It was through this experience that I discovered my photographic language—the style I now recognize as my own—and it allowed me to connect with a reality so distant yet deeply captivating.
